OUR GAURANTEE

Our outdoor garden furniture lines, Park Bench Designs™ and Parke Teak™, is warranted for one-year against structural failure and against wood rot and insect infestation, provided the furniture is assembled correctly and is subjected to normal use. Structural failure after incorrect assembly, variations in wood color due to weathering, roughness, and non-structural cracks or splits are not warranted. Park Bench will not be liable for failure caused by abuse, neglect, or the application of paint or polyurethane.

If any item covered under this warranty is defective, a replacement part, component or a new item will be exchanged for the defective part(s). Defects are defined as any imperfection in workmanship and material which will impair the normal use of the product. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence or abuse, acts of nature, improper assembly or maintenance, normal weathering or wear which includes any checking (non structural cracks) in the wood.

Other Manufacturers Warranty
All items not manufactured by us and sold through Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture, including cushions, umbrellas and care products are warranted by the individual manufacturer and are solely responsible for any claims/damages. Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture is not responsible or does not claim to be responsible for any of these products.

PURCHASES

Online Purchases
Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture maintains an extensive in-stock inventory. All online purchases will be processed immediately and all in-stock orders are shipped out within five business days of order. Most outdoor garden furniture items include free shipping. Items ordered online can be picked up at our showroom and shipping costs will be waived (waiver feature is available at shopping cart check out), free shipping or no shipping cost apply. If an item is back ordered, we will notify you of any shipping delays over two weeks.

Showroom Purchases
All items purchased from our showroom are available for immediate pick up or next day pickup if not available from our showroom inventory. Showroom purchases also receive our White Glove Service which includes FREE ASSEMBLY and FREE SHIPPING for items picked up at our showroom. Showroom sales are final.

Local delivery
Immediate delivery is available for all showroom purchases made to local destinations within a limited area surrounding San Rafael, California, Marin County, California, known as the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Delivery rates are based on time, weight and distance traveled. All special requests considered. Please notify us of any special circumstances such as stairs, limited driveways or narrow entrances.

Packaging
Most of our outdoor garden furniture items will arrive in a flat box in sub-assembled form, except for folding chairs, tables and where otherwise noted. All necessary hardware and assembly instructions are provided for quick and easy assembly of your outdoor garden Burmese teak and shorea (yellow balau) furniture.

Shipping Rates –Free Shipping
MOST ITEMS SHIP FREE! Free shipping applies to most of our smaller/lighter items. Large and heavy weighted items may incur additional shipping costs. Any additional shipping cost is clearly noted on each individual item. Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture will ship to anywhere in the USA. For shipments to Hawaii or Alaska contact us for a shipping quote.

Delivery Methods
Every order is personally handled by our knowledgeable staff to determine the best method of shipment for safe and efficient delivery of your order. Deliveries are either shipped Federal Express ground (small sizes and generally under 150 lbs) or freight (large sizes and generally over 150 lbs). All freight shipments are delivered curbside. Additional services, including lift gate fees or in-house delivery are available at additional costs. Please notify us of any additional delivery service requests.
Normal delivery time is 3 to 10 business days from receipt of your order for all in-stock items. 

Email Notification & Tracking
Ground Email Notification: Once your order has been processed and assigned a delivery schedule, you will immediately receive an email notification with the tracking number and shipment method for your order. Go to www.fedex.com/tracking and input your tracking number to follow your shipment's progress and estimated delivery date. Please allow up to a couple of days for Federal Express to scan your shipment into their system to activate your tracking number.
Freight Email Notification: Once your order has been received, processed, packaged for shipment and received by a  freight carrier at our origin we will then send you an email notification. We will email you with the freight companys website and pro tracking number for you to follow your shipments progress and estimated delivery date.

Arrival of Shipment
Ground:
You do not need to be present to sign for delivery if your order, or part of your order, is shipped Federal Express ground.
Freight:On all  freight deliveries you must be present to sign for the order. The freight company will notifie you by telephone prior to delivery and arrange for an approximate delivery time, usually within a four hour period of time. Our staff will include your pre-delivery contact phone number and delivery address on the freight bill of lading.

Inspection of Shipment
Our products are well-packaged to withstand damage during shipping. Thoroughly inspect all sides of each package before signing for delivery. Thoroughly inspect all component parts before assembling any furniture. Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture will not be responsible if you assemble an item with a damaged component part. If an item appears damaged or parts are missing, please contact us immediately.

Ground Inspection
Upon inspection, if you discover that the packaging is damaged, please open the package and inspect the contents. In many cases, only the packaging is damaged and contents are just fine. If the packaging is not damaged, but you find that the product inside is damaged or defective, save the packaging materials and contact us immediately for a resolution. For all ground deliveries you must inspect your items within 48 hours.

Freight Inspection
Upon arrival, take time to inspect the paperwork is accurate (correct quantity and type of item(s) have been delivered) and that the shipment is free from any damage or defect. For freight deliveries it is safest to inspect for both visable damage and concealed damage at time of delivery to minimize your risk of loss for reimburement.

Freight Visible Damage:
All copies of the freight bill or way bill must note any damage and be signed by the driver and consignee. It is imperative that you make a report of any damage or defect immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the shipping company's Bill of Lading. We are unable to accept responsibility for any shipping damage that has not been noted on the Bill of Lading and has not been reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Freight Concealed Damage (if not detected at delivery):
     1.  Call the freight carrier immediately and request inspection
     2.  Retain copy of inspection report 
     3.  Keep carton and packaging 
     4.  Do not remove from premise before inspection is made

Refund Goods
Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture offers a 30 day money back guarantee on all Park Bench Designs™ and Parke Teak™ online purchases except for all cushion and all umbrella purchases. All actual incurred outbound shipping costs and all transaction processing fees (both sales and return transction fees) incurred by Park Bench  will be deducted form the return purchase price amounts. 

Return Rules
Sales returned for a refund, store credit, or exchange must receive prior authorized approval. The return shipment (inbound shipment to Park Bench) is at the purchaser's responsibility and expense. All returned items must be returned its unassembled, original and new conditon or will be refused and returned to the buyers at the buyers expense.For all Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture authorized returns, you are responsible for re-packing any item(s) safely in their original packaging, including all of the accompanying, instructions, hardware, and other materials with the return shipment. Do not assemble the furniture. Any alterations made to the product after delivery will be refused.

Restocking Fee
For showroom purchases, if approved, a restocking fee of up to 20% will be charged. On all showroom returns, you will also be responsible for all transacation charges, freight and packaging charges to and from your location for returns not as a result of our error.

Return Damaged Goods
In the event that your order arrives damaged, contact us immediately. You will be given authorization to return the item(s) and we will inform you of the return procedures. All damaged items must be reported to us within twenty four hours of receipt of goods.
Item(s) not received due to damage in-transit will be shipped a replacement item(s) at no additional charge. Please inform us of any orders not received within the estimated delivery date. No cancellations for these intial orders will be accepted.
Never send a product back to Park Bench Teak and Garden Furniture without an assigned authorization. If an item is sent back without prior authorization the shipment will be refused and any additional costs will be your responsibility.
